First Time Visitor
Hello, and welcome to Community Baptist Church! We're a friendly church that welcomes all in our community. We know that meeting a new congregation can be intimidating, but we want to help make your first experience at CBC a great one! As a first time visitor, here's what you can expect when you attend our services:
Parking
We have free parking available in the church parking lot.
Welcome Team
You will be greeted by our friendly welcome team when you arrive. If you have any questions, they’ll be happy to help.
Kids
Kids of all ages are welcome to attend church service.
Fellowship
You’re welcome to fellowship before and after service. Come early or stay late and enjoy fellowship with others.
Security
Your family’s safety is our highest priority. We have trained security personnel and a precautionary safety protocol to keep our church a safe place to visit.
Services
Our services include singing and Bible teachings. Our singing is an act of worship to God; feel free to sit, stand, or dance. This is followed by a 30 to 45-minute message from Pastor Turner.
Dress
You’ll see a wide range of dress here, from jeans to suits to traditional African attire. Community Baptist Church is for everyone!
Not sure about Christianity?
Jesus said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3:3). Only Jesus Christ – and no other – died on the cross for your sins. Only He promises you the hope of Heaven. Jesus essentially said the only way you can be certain your sins are forgiven and to know you will spend eternity in Heaven is by putting your complete trust in Him.
The Bible says, “He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit” (Titus 3:5. NLT).
